Χαλαζόπτωση στην Άνω Αδίγη, νεροποντή στην ΦλωρεντίαΤρεις άνθρωποι τραυματίσθηκαν χθες αργά το απόγευμα εξαιτίας ανεμοστρόβιλου στη βορειοανατολική Ιταλία. Πρόκειται για Ιταλούς και τουρίστες που παραθέριζαν στις παραθαλάσσιες περιοχές Ιέζολο και το Μπιμπιόνε, στην ευρύτερη περιοχή της Βενετίας.
Μια ξένη τουρίστρια στην περιοχή τραυματίσθηκε σοβαρά από κλαδιά δέντρου τα οποία αποκόπηκαν από τον ανεμοστρόβιλο. Μεταφέρθηκε σε νοσοκομείο με ελικόπτερο, και της παρασχέθηκε άμεσα η αναγκαία ιατρική φροντίδα. Παράλληλα, στη βορειοανατολική περιφέρεια Τρεντίνο-‘Ανω Αδίγη, ισχυρότατη χαλαζόπτωση προκάλεσε τη διακοπή μέρους των σιδηροδρομικών συνδέσεων και ουσιαστική οικονομική ζημιά στη φημισμένη τοπική παραγωγή κρασιού.
Η Φλωρεντία, τέλος, επλήγη από μεγάλη νεροποντή, η οποία προκάλεσε πτώση δέντρων, ζημιές σε προσόψεις κτηρίων, πλημμύρες σε κεντρικούς δρόμους και μπλακ-άουτ σε ορισμένες περιοχές της πόλης. Η περιφέρεια της Τοσκάνης προειδοποίησε ότι ακραία καιρικά φαινόμενα μπορεί να επαναληφθούν κατά την διάρκεια της σημερινής ημέρας και σε παραθαλάσσιες περιοχές. Εξαιτίας της σφοδρής νεροποντής αποφασίστηκε η διακοπή των επισκέψεων για μια περίπου ώρα στο ιστορικό καμπαναριό του καθεδρικού ναού της Φλωρεντίας, Σάντα Μαρία Ντε Φιόρε.
