«Ο Spider Man είναι Εβραίος», λέει ο πρωταγωνιστής του “The Amazing Spider Man”
Ο Andrew Garfield, πρωταγωνιστής του “The Amazing Spider Man 2”, (που βγαίνει στους κινηματογράφους στις 2 Μαΐου) θεωρεί ότι ο Spider Man (‘Peter Parker’) είναι Εβραίος.
Ο συλλογισμός του Garfield φαίνεται “στερεοτυπικός” :
«Ο Peter Parker δεν είναι ένας απλός μάγκας. Δεν μπορεί να μείνει ήσυχος».
«Ποτέ δεν αισθάνεται ότι κάνει αρκετά. Και ο Peter πάσχει από έλλειψη αυτοπεποίθησης. Κομπιάζει για το μέλλον του, γιατί είναι νευρωτικός. Είναι Εβραίος. Είναι ένας χαρακτηριστικός τύπος (Εβραίου)».
Και ο Garfield συνεχίζει:
«Ελπίζω ότι ο εβραϊκός λαός δεν θα σκεφτεί ότι αυτό είναι κλισέ, εξαιτίας του Εβραίου πατέρα μου. Το έχω μέσα μου σίγουρα».
