Τραγωδία σημειώθηκε στα Ιωάννινα, καθώς πέθανε μια 20χρονη φοιτήτρια από την Χίο λόγω ανακοπής κατά τη νοσηλεία της στο νοσοκομείο, ενώ είχε διαγνωστεί με αμυγδαλίτιδα.
Η κοπέλα εισήχθη στην Ωτορινολαρυγγολογική Κλινική πριν από μία εβδομάδα και σύμφωνα με το epiruspost.gr διαγνώστηκε αμυγδαλίτιδα.
Η κατάστασή της ωστόσο αντί να βελτιώνεται γινόταν χειρότερη. Έγινε αξονική τομογραφία και παρέμεινε στην Κλινική.
Σήμερα Τετάρτη και κατά την διάρκεια εξετάσεων η κοπέλα έπαθε ανακοπή. Διασωληνώθηκε και στη συνέχεια μεταφέρθηκε στη Μονάδα Εντατικής Θεραπείας του Πανεπιστημιακού Νοσοκομείου όπου και νωρίς το μεσημέρι κατέληξε.
Σύμφωνα με πληροφορίες το κορίτσι δεν είχε ιατρικό ιστορικό, δεν αντιμετώπιζε χρόνιο νόσημα και δεν είχε διαγνωστεί κανένα καρδιολογικό πρόβλημα στο παρελθόν.
Τα ερωτήματα που προκύπτουν ως εκ τούτου είναι πολλά και κρίσιμα. Κι αυτό γιατί η νεαρή κοπέλα που διαγνώσθηκε με αμυγδαλίτιδα παρέμεινε αρκετές μέρες στο νοσοκομείο με την κατάστασή της να χειροτερεύει συνεχώς και στο τέλος να χάσει τη ζωή της.
