Φωτιά σε δασική έκταση βρίσκεται σε εξέλιξη στη Λίμνη Ευβοίας.
Όπως μεταδίδει το eviavima, η φωτιά καίει δίπλα στην είσοδο του οικισμού ενώ οι άνεμοι που πνέουν στην περιοχή είναι ισχυροί.
Σύμφωνα με την Πυροσβεστική, στη μάχη για την κατάσβεση της φωτιάς, συμμετέχουν 15 οχήματα, 36 πυροσβέστες, 1 ομάδα πεζοπόρο, 6 αεροσκάφη, 2 ελικόπτερα και ένα συντονιστικό. Ωστόσο, εκπρόσωπος της Πυροσβεστικής σε τηλεφωνική επικοινωνία με το iefimerida, είπε ότι η φωτιά αυτή τη στιγμή δεν απειλεί κατοικημένη περιοχή.
Το tweet της πυροσβεστικής αναφέρει: «Πυρκαγιά σε δασική έκταση στην Λίμνη Ευβοίας. Κινητοποιήθηκαν επίγειες και εναέριες δυνάμεις».
«Κινδυνεύουν περίπου 10 σπίτια»
Ο δήμαρχος Μαντουδίου Λίμνης Αγίας Άννας, Γιώργος Τσαπουρνιώτης, μιλώντας στο evima, δήλωσε για τη φωτιά: «Κινδυνεύουν περίπου 10 σπίτια, οι κάτοικοι δεν απομακρύνονται και καταβρέχουν με λάστιχα για να σώσουν τις περιουσίες τους. Είμαστε εν αναμονή των εναέριων μέσων ενώ παράλληλα επιχειρούν επίγειες δυνάμεις της πυροσβεστικής και υδροφόρες του Δήμου Μαντουδίου Λίμνης Αγίας Άννας. Η φωτιά είναι μεγάλη και γίνονται προσπάθειες να περιοριστεί».
