Νέα προκλητική δήλωση από τον Τούρκο υπουργό Εξωτερικών, Μεβούτ Τσαβούσογλου.
«Με την Λιβύη η συμφωνία είναι νόμιμη. Με την Λιβύη μπορούμε να κάνουμε και σεισμικές έρευνες και γεωτρήσεις. Κανένας δεν μπορεί να κάνει εργασίες στην υφαλοκρηπίδα μας χωρίς την άδεια μας. Αν μπουν στην υφαλοκρηπίδα μας χωρίς την άδεια θα τους εμποδίσουμε», επεσήμανε μεταξύ άλλων σε δηλώσεις του στο τουρκικό τηλεοπτικό δίκτυο A Haber .
Παράλληλα, επεσήμανε ότι η Τουρκία θα ανταποδώσει σε περίπτωση που οι Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες επιβάλλουν κυρώσεις κατά της Τουρκίας.
Πρόσθεσε ακόμη ότι η Αγκυρα, στον απόηχο και του αποκλεισμού της από το πρόγραμμα των αμερικανικών F-35 είναι ανοιχτή σε εναλλακτικές όπως αυτή της Ρωσίας.
Τόνισε μάλιστα ότι θα εξετάσει το ενδεχόμενο να ζητήσει από τις ΗΠΑ να αποσυρθούν από την αεροπορική βάση του Ιντσιρλίκ και την πυραυλική βάση του Κιουρεσίκ στην περίπτωση κυρώσεων.
