Όπως μπορείτε να δείτε στην παραπάνω εικόνα δύο τροπικές καταιγίδες κατευθύνονται προς την Ιαπωνία, ενώ οι μετεωρολόγοι της περιοχής εκτιμούν ότι είναι πολύ πιθανή η ένωση των δύο αυτών καταιγίδων δημιουργώντας το μετεωρολογικό φαινόμενα που είναι γνωστό ως PEPFECT STORM.
Πάντως ήδη το νησί χτυπάει ο τυφώνας Mindulle, ο οποίος με ταχύτα 180χλμ την ώρα κατευθύνεται γρήγορα προς την ιαπωνική πρωτεύουσα (Τόκιο).
Ήδη πάντως με εντολή της τοπικής κυβέρνησης διεκόπησαν όλα τα δρομολόγια τρένων, αεροπλάνων και πλοίων και χορηγήθηκε έκτακτη διήμερη αργία, ώστε να περιοριστούν στο ελάχιστον οι ανθρώπινες απώλειες.
Τουλάχιστον 387 πτήσεις ακυρώθηκαν από τις αεροπορικές εταιρίες, ανάμεσά τους 145 της Japan Airlines (JAL) και 96 της All Nippon Airways (ANA). Και άλλες πτήσεις μπορεί να ακυρωθούν κατά τη διάρκεια της ημέρας.
