Ο Λόρδος Martin Rees , δήλωσε πως οι εξωγήινοι μπορεί να έχουν μορφή πέρα από κάθε ανθρώπινη κατανόηση.
«Υποψιάζομαι την ύπαρξη νοήμονος εξωγήινης ζωής εκεί έξω στο απέραντο συμπάν με μορφές που δεν μπορούμε να συλλάβουμε. ‘Ακριβώς όπως ένας χιμπατζής δεν μπορεί να καταλάβει την κβαντική θεωρία, θα μπορούσε να υπάρχουν και πτυχές της πραγματικότητας που είναι πέρα από την ικανότητα του εγκεφάλου μας.’
O κύριος Rees αυξάνει τις πιθανότητες οι εξωγήινοι να είναι εδώ είδη και να βρίσκονται σε οποιαδήποτε μορφή και σχήμα.
Αυτά δήλωσε στο πρώτο συνέδριο για την πιθανότητα εξωγήινης ζωής 350-χρόνων Royal Society-ιστορία.
Επίσης είπε, πως με την νέα τεχνολογία τώρα και με τα νέα καλύτερα τηλεσκόπια έχουν πολλές πιθανότητες να βρουν ζωή σε άλλους πλάνητες από κάθε άλλη φορά..
