Οι ρωσόφιλοι πολίτες της Οδησσού -τέταρτη μεγαλύτερη πόλη της Ουκρανίας και σημαντικό λιμάνι στον Εύξεινο Πόντο- από το μεσημέρι της Κυριακής βγήκαν στους δρόμους για να απιτήσουν δημοψήφισμα για προσάρτηση με την Ρωσία!
Να θυμίσουμε ότι στην Οδησσό υπήρχε μία αρκετά οργανωμένη ελληνική παροικία στις αρχές του 19ου αιώνα. Η Οδησσός είναι άρρηκτα συνδεδεμένη με την ιστορία του ελληνισμού, αφού εκεί συστάθηκε η Φιλική Εταιρεία.
