«O κατασκευαστής του εμβολίου PaxVax με βάση την Καλιφόρνια φέρεται να έχει υποβάλει αίτηση για να αρχίσει τις διεθνείς δοκιμές ενός νέου από του στόματος εμβόλιο της χολέρας που περιέχει ζωντανά, γενετικά τροποποιημένα (ΓΤ) βακτήρια.
Η ιστοσελίδα VacTruth.com αναφέρει ότι το νέο εμβόλιο έχει οριστεί να δοκιμαστεί σε περισσότερα από 1.000 άτομα, πολλοί από τους οποίους είναι μικρά παιδιά, σε μια τριμερή σειρά κλινικής δοκιμής που θα πραγματοποιηθεί σε όλη την Αυστραλία.
