Γάζα-Με δάκρυα στα μάτια τα παιδιά επέστρεψαν στα σχολεία
Ήταν ένα καλοκαίρι που άλλαξε τη ζωή των παιδιών στη Λωρίδα της Γάζας. Τα παιδιά επέστρεψαν στα θρανία τους αλλά τίποτα δεν έδειχνε φυσιολογικό, μετά τον αιματηρό πόλεμο.
Τα σχολεία είναι κατεστραμμένα από τις συγκρούσεις και τις ρουκέτες. Το χειρότερο όμως είναι ότι κάποιοι από τους συμμαθητές τους δεν επέστρεψαν ποτέ…

Αυτή είναι η Παλαιστίνη και αυτές είναι οι αξίες που ρίζωσαν εκεί. Ενώ κάπου μακριά, στην αντίπερα μεριά του πλανήτη, κάτι στρουμπουλά παιδιά περνάνε από ανιχνευτή μετάλλων για να μπουν στην τάξη τους μήπως κουβαλάνε κάποιο σουγιά ή άλλο όπλο. Στα διαλείμματα παίζουν παιχνίδια στο smartphone τους και συναγωνίζονται ποιο θα πεί τις περισσότερες μικρομέγαλες εξυπνάδες. Στο σπίτι έχουν οι γονείς των περισσότερων δύο ψυγεία για να χωρέσουν όλα τα ψώνια από το σουπερμάρκετ. Τα μισά ψώνια ξεχνιούνται μέχρι που λήγουν και πετιούνται στα σκουπίδια… Μια μόνο πλευρά του "πολιτισμού της χέστρας", που λέει και ο Νικόλας.
