Να διαγράψουν μέρος του χρέους τους, μέσω της Ευρωπαϊκής Διευκόλυνσης Χρηματοπιστωτικής Σταθερότητας (EFSF), θα μπορούν η Ελλάδα και η Ιρλανδία, όπως υποστηρίζει σε δημοσίευμά της η γερμανική έκδοση των Financial Times. Σύμφωνα με το σχετικό δημοσίευμα, οι υπουργοί Οικονομικών της Ευρωζώνης φέρεται να συζήτησαν την παραπάνω ιδέα στην τακτική συνεδρίασή τους, στις Βρυξέλλες, την περασμένη Δευτέρα.
Το σχέδιο προβλέπει την αγορά ομολόγων από το EFSF ή την παροχή δανείων με ευνοϊκούς όρους σε αυτά τα κράτη που θα χρησιμοποιούνται για την επαναγορά του χρέους και τη μείωση των υποχρεώσεων τους.
Πάντως, χθες Αθήνα και Βερολίνο διέψευσαν φήμες ότι η Γερμανία εξετάζει σχέδιο που θα επιτρέπει στην Ελλάδα να επαναγοράσει το χρέος της μέσω του EFSF.
Σήμερα, ο Γερμανός υπουργός Οικονομίας, μιλώντας στο κοινοβούλιο της χώρας, επανέλαβε ότι η χώρα του αντιτίθεται στην ιδέα έκδοσης ευρω-ομολόγων.
«Η Γερμανία αντιτίθεται στα ευρω-ομόλογα. Πρέπει να είμαστε οι φρουροί του ευρώ», είπε.
