Πάνω από 74 τόνους κρέατος ιπποειδών, ακόμα και μουλαριού, έφτασαν και καταναλώθηκαν στη Ελλάδα σύμφωνα με στατιστικά στοιχεία της Eurostat που δημοσιεύει η γνωστή Βρετανική εφημερίδα Guardian.
Όπως αποκαλύπτει η εφημερίδα, στην Ελλάδα καταναλώθηκαν περισσότερα από 74.000 κιλά αλογίσιου κρέατος, ενώ περισσότεροι από 60.000 τόνοι κρέατος ιπποειδών διανεμήθηκαν στο εμπόριο από και προς τις χώρες της Ευρώπης μέσα στο 2012.
Εκτός από τον κιμά αλόγου και γαϊδουριού, οι επιτήδειοι που απέκρυψαν την ταυτότητα του κρέατος, φαίνεται πως προώθησαν ακόμα και κρέας μουλαριού, με το διατροφικό σκάνδαλο να παίρνει πλέον τεράστιες διαστάσεις καθώς αποδεικνύεται ότι και η Ελλάδα, υπήρξε σταθμός για την διανομή του κρέατος.
