Η Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση ζήτησε από την Ανδόρρα να αλλάξει την εμφάνιση των κερμάτων του ευρώ, τα οποία κόβονται στο πριγκηπάτο, και να αφαιρέσει από αυτά την απεικόνιση του Ιησού Χριστού Παντοκράτωρ, αντικαθιστώντας την με μία ουδέτερη απεικόνιση.
Οι αρχές της Ευρωπαικής Ένωσης αιτιολόγησαν το αίτημά τους με την “επιθυμία” να τηρηθεί η αρχή της ουδετερότητας σε …θρησκευτικά ζητήματα!
Η κυβέρνηση του πριγκηπάτου θεώρησε το αίτημα της Ε.Ε «εύλογο και δικαιολογημένο» και αντικατέστησε τη μορφή του Χριστού στα κέρματα αξίας 10, 20 και 50 λεπτών με την απεικόνιση ενός καμπαναριού μιας εκκλησίας.
Είναι η δεύτερη φορά που η Ε.Ε επεμβαίνει σε χώρες που έχουν κοινό νόμισμα το ευρώ για θρησκευτικούς λόγους! Η πρώτη ήταν το 2012 όταν η Ευρωπαϊκή Επιτροπή ζήτησε από τη Σλοβακία να αφαιρέσει τα χριστιανικά σύμβολα από τα κέρματα, ωστόσο η κυβέρνηση της Σλοβακίας υπερασπίστηκε το δικαίωμά της να κόβει κέρματα αξίας 2 ευρώ με την απεικόνιση των Αγίων Κυρίλλου και Μεθοδίου.

Τώρα εδώ με τσιγκλάει το άρθρο να απευθυνθώ στους Σλοβένους – γνωστούς ανθέλληνες με τα όλα τους – και να τους ρωτήσω το εξής:
