Σύμφωνα με έρευνα ελβετικού ινστιτούτου ο Παλαιστίνιος ηγέτης Γιάσερ Αραφάτ που απεβίωσε το 2004 είχε δηλητηριαστεί με τη ραδιενεργή ουσία πολώνιο. Ομάδα ερευνητών κατέληξε σε αυτό το αποτέλεσμα έπειτα από πολύμηνη ανάλυση προσωπικών αντικειμένων του Γ. Αραφάτ, τα οποία παρέδωσε προς έρευνα η χήρα του θανόντος Σουχά.
Σύμφωνα με τον Φρανσουά Μποσίντ διευθυντή του ινστιτούτου πυρηνικών ερευνών της Λωζάνης, τα ίχνη πολωνίου που εντοπίστηκαν στα δείγματα ξεπερνούσαν τα ασφαλή όρια για έναν άνθρωπο.
Ο Αραφάτ ασθένησε ενώ βρισκόταν στη Ραμάλα της Δυτικής Όχθης, πολιορκημένος στο γενικό επιτελείο του από τον ισραηλινό στρατό, και πέθανε στις 11 Νοεμβρίου 2004 στο Περσί. Ο θάνατός του παρέμεινε ένα αίνιγμα αφού οι περίπου 50 γιατροί που τον εξέτασαν δεν κατάφεραν να προσδιορίσουν την ακριβή αιτία της επιδείνωσης της υγείας του. Οι Παλαιστίνιοι κατηγορούσαν το Ισραήλ ότι τον δηλητηρίασε.
Για να επιβεβαιωθεί ότι ο θάνατος του Αραφάτ προκλήθηκε από δηλητηρίαση με πολώνιο θα πρέπει να γίνει εκταφή της σορού του και να ακολουθήσουν εκτεταμένες αναλύσεις, πρόσθεσε ο Μποσίντ.
Να δούμε αν θα προχωρήσει περαιτέρω η έρευνα ή αν θα την φάει…το μαύρο σκοτάδι!
Πάντως πρέπει να γίνει κάτι ανάλογο και για τον Μακαριστό Αρχιεπίσκοπο Χριστόδουλο, τον Τάσσο Παπαδόπουλο και άλλους που ενοχλούσαν αφάνταστα το σιωνιστικό κατεστημένο, επομένως έχουμε λόγους να πιστεύουμε πως δεν επρόκειτο για θανάτους από φυσικά αίτια!
