Η παραπάνω κίνηση της αλυσίδας έχει προβληματίσει εκατομμύρια ανθρώπους σε όλον τον κόσμο γιατί βλέποντας το παραπάνω βίντεο φαίνεται σαν η αλυσίδα να μην ακολουθεί το νόμο της βαρύτητας.

Εντάξει, δεν καταρίπτει νόμους φυσικής, απο την στιγμή που η αλυσίδα ανεβαίνει (π.χ.) 10cm (χρειάζεται ενέργεια Χ) αλλά κατεβαίνει (π.χ.) 100cm (αποκτώντας ενέργεια 10Χ) τότε απλά με κάποιον τρόπο μέρος της ενέργειας απο την αλυσίδα που κατεβαίνει μεταφέρεται λόγω της δομής της συγκεκριμένης αλυσίδας (δεν νομίζω να ισχύει το φαινόμενο με αλυσίδα κρίκων) στο πάνω κομάτι της και την κάνει να ανυψωθεί.
