Δεν ξέρω αν όπως λένε, το πιό βαθύ σκοτάδι είναι πριν το ξημέρωμα. Δεν ξέρω καν, αν θα ξημερώσει. Φοβάμαι πως όχι. Τουλάχιστον για μας. Και για τα παιδιά μας. Αλλά πάλι, αν δεν ξημερώσει για μας και για τα παιδιά μας, δεν θα ξημερώσει ποτέ για κανέναν. Γιατί όποιος γεννηθεί και ζήσει στο σκοτάδι δεν ξέρει πώς είναι το φως.
Χρειάζεται κάποιος, που έχει δει το φως, να το περιγράψει και στους άλλους. Να τους πει πόσο ωραίο είναι. Αν χαθεί η μνήμη του φωτός θα κερδίσει το σκοτάδι. Περιτριγυριζόμαστε από μαύρο. Μαύρο το παρόν. Μαύρο και το μέλλον. Μαύρες οι σκέψεις μας.
Μαύρος, μέσα στην πολυχρωμία του και ο φασισμός που μας κυκλώνει. Σκοτεινοί άνθρωποι με μαύρες ψυχές καθορίζουν τα όρια και τα όνειρά μας. Λυσσασμένες, μαύρες ψυχές, που δεν έχουν τίποτα απ’ το γαλάζιο του ουρανού της χώρας που τις γέννησε. Μαύρες γέννες κακιάς και μαύρης στιγμής.. Δεν ξέρω πόσο μπορούμε ν’ αντέξουμε τόσο σκοτάδι γύρω μας. Δεν βλέπω πιά γύρω μας παρά σκοτάδι. Θα ξημερώσει;
Δεν ξέρω. Το μόνο που ξέρω είναι ότι αν δεν ξημερώσει τώρα δεν θα ξημερώσει ποτέ. Αν παραδοθούμε οριστικά, θα χαθεί οριστικά και το φως. Δεν ξέρω αν θα παραδοθούμε οριστικά, ή αν έχουμε ήδη παραδοθεί. Ξέρω μόνον ότι πρέπει την τελευταία δύναμη, την έσχατη πριν το οριστικό σκοτάδι, να την κρατήσουμε για ν’ ανάψουμε μιά σπίθα. Μιά σπίθα μιάς στιγμής. Ίσως πολλές τέτοιες σπίθες αλλεπάλληλων στιγμών, να ξαναφέρουν το φως..
