Ο τεχνικός της Βέροιας, Ράτκο Ντόστανιτς, αντιμετωπίζει τρεις απουσίες, ενόψει της αναμέτρησης με τον ΠΑΟΚ (26/1, 17:15) στην Τούμπα.
Σε συνολικά 13 αγώνες που έχουν γίνει ανάμεσα σε ΠΑΟΚ και Βέροια για το πρωτάθλημα της Α’ Εθνικής και της Super League, με γηπεδούχο τον ΠΑΟΚ, ο απολογισμός είναι: 9 νίκες του ΠΑΟΚ, 1 νίκη της Βέροιας και 3 ισοπαλίες.
Η μοναδική νίκη της Βέροιας μέσα στο γήπεδο της Τούμπας σημειώθηκε πριν από 45 χρόνια, όταν στις 28 Ιανουαρίου 1968 (και όχι στις 21/1/68 όπως είναι καταχωρημένο σε πολλά ιστορικά βιβλία…) επικράτησε με 2-1 χάρη στα γκολ των Παπαφωτίου (12’) και Μήτα (69’΄) με τον Αφεντουλίδη να ισοφαρίζει προσωρινά με εύστοχο χτύπημα πέναλτι στο 46’ για τον ΠΑΟΚ.
