Το εθνικό φρόνημα τον Ελλήνων προκαλεί ο αλβανός ιστορικός Pëllumb Xhufi υποστηρίζοντας πως η Ελλάδα έχει «κενό» ηρώων και γι’ αυτό θέλει να το γεμίσει «αρπάζοντας» τους ήρωες της Αλβανίας.
Ο ανιστόρητος Xhufi προέβει στην δήλωση αυτή σε απάντηση του ξεμπροστιάσματος που έκανε η Χρυσή Αυγή στους τουρκόσπορους της Ερυθρόμαυρης Συμμαχίας όπου μεταξύ άλλων τόνισε την Ελληνική καταγωγή του Εθνικού ηρώα της Αλβανίας, Γεώργιου Καστριώτη.
Μάλιστα ο ανιστόρητος Αλβανός προχώρησε ένα βήμα παραπέρα υποστηρίζοντας πως οι ήρωες του 1821 που μέσω της επανάστασής τους απελευθέρωσαν την Ελλάδα ήσαν Αλβανοί, μάλιστα ως πριστήριο ο Xhufi επικαλείται το ντοκιμαντέρ που μετέδωσε η τηλεόραση του ΣΚΑΙ «Οι Ήρωες του 1821».
Τι να πει κανείς… μόνο και μόνο στο ότι βασίζεται σε ένα ντοκιμαντέρ και σε κανένα ιστορικό ντοκουμέντο δείχνει το επίπεδο και την σοβαρότητά του ως ιστορικού – μελετητή.
