Σύμφωνα με το τουρκικό Αναντολού το τουρκικό Ναυτικό τέθηκε σε αυξημένη ετοιμότητας στο Αιγαίο με αποδέκτη την… Ελλάδα.
Στο Αιγαίο το τουρκικό Ναυτικό θέτει σε επιφυλακή μια φρεγάτα και δύο πυραυλακάτους αλλά και μονάδα των ειδικών δυνάμεων SAT.
Μάλιστα αναφέρεται ότι οι παραπάνω μονάδες έλαβαν αποστολές περιπολίας και είναι σε επιφυλακή για ενδεχόμενη αποστολή.
