Σκόπια: Ο πρωθυπουργός της ΠΓΔΜ, Νίκολα Γκρούεφσκι, δήλωσε σήμερα ότι ο μοναδικός λόγος για τον οποίο η χώρα του δεν έχει ενταχθεί ακόμη στο ΝΑΤΟ, είναι οι «παρεμποδίσεις» της Ελλάδας εξαιτίας της εκκρεμότητας της ονομασίας. «Ο μόνος λόγος που η “Μακεδονία” δεν έχει γίνει ακόμα δεκτή στη Συμμαχία είναι η παρεμπόδιση εκ μέρους της Ελλάδας και η απαίτησή της να αλλάξουμε το όνομα της χώρας μας και την ταυτότητά μας – κάτι που εμείς αρνούμαστε να κάνουμε».
«Αναζητούμε λύση που δεν θα προκαλέσει σοβαρή ζημιά στο κράτος, στους πολίτες του και σε όλα όσα τους είναι σημαντικά. Ελπίζουμε οι μελλοντικές συνομιλίες και επαφές μας να οδηγήσουν σε μια τέτοια λύση. Σε κάθε περίπτωση, αυτός είναι ο μοναδικός λόγος που η “Μακεδονία” δεν έχει αποκτήσει ακόμα καθεστώς επίσημου μέλους του ΝΑΤΟ», ανέφερε ο Ν. Γκρούεφσκι. Ο κ. Γκρούεφσκι πρόσθεσε ότι η χώρα του μοιράζεται τις αξίες της Βορειοατλαντικής Συμμαχίας και συμμετέχει σε πολλές αποστολές του ΝΑΤΟ.
