Βρήκαν χώρο στο Αιγαίο και πήγαν να το παίξουν τσαμπουκάδες στο έβγα από το Ελληνικό FIR Αθηνών …Nότια της Χίου τα δύο Τούρκικα F-16 που συνόδευαν τα τέσσερα F-4 έκαναν αναστροφή και πήγαν να το παίξουν σκληροί, μόνο που εδώ σήμερα ήταν τα Μιράζ 2000-5 που είχαν απογειωθεί από την ετοιμότητα της Σκύρου και είναι Άσσοι στις αναχαιτίσεις !
Οι «Δελτάδες των Μιράζ » “όπως αποκαλούνται εκτός από την μεγάλη εμπειρία ,έχουν και στα χέρια τους ένα από τα καλύτερα μαχητικά στο κόσμο στις κλειστές αερομαχίες και άγνωστο σαν μαχητικό απο τους Τούρκους χειριστές …Με το αποτέλεσμα να είναι γνωστό πριν τη εμπλοκή !
Δύο φορές τα Τούρκικα οπλισμένα μαχητικά F-16 επιχείρησαν μία την 15:40 και την δεύτερη 15:45 επιχείρησαν να διώξουν από την ουρά τους τα Ελληνικά Μαχητικά αλλά νικήθηκαν κατά κράτος από τους Χειριστές των Ελληνικών Μιράζ 2000-5
Ακόμη και το γνωστό C-235 δεν μπαινόβγαινε στο FIR Αθηνών και την έκανε με ελαφρές αναταράξεις!
Όλα τα αεροσκάφη αναγνωρίστηκαν και αναχαιτίστηκαν σύμφωνα με τους διεθνείς κανόνες, κατά πάγια πρακτική
