Νεκρά πρόβατα πέταξαν άγνωστοι στην κοίτη του χειμάρρου Ξηριά στην περιοχή του Αλμυρού Βόλου και έχει σημάνει συναγερμός στις τοπικές αστυνομικές αρχές.
Αλλά και από πλευράς της εισαγγελίας Βόλου που διέταξε κατεπείγουσα προκαταρκτική εξέταση για τον εντοπισμό των αγνώστων δραστών.
Συναγερμός στις αστυνομικές Αρχες Βόλου
Η ανησυχία της εισαγγελίας Βόλου προκλήθηκε από το γεγονός ότι στην ευρύτερη περιοχή του Αλμυρού και της Μαγνησίας γενικότερα έχουν εμφανιστεί κρούσματα ευλογιάς σε πρόβατα και για τον λόγο αυτό ζητήθηκε από την κτηνιατρική υπηρεσία να ελέγξει την προέλευση των προβάτων που βρέθηκαν νεκρά στο ρέμα του Ξηριά.
Το τελευταίο διάστημα στην περιοχή του Αλμυρού έχουν εντοπισθεί τέσσερα κρούσματα ευλογιάς σε ζώα που ανήκουν σε κοπάδια προβάτων και ο κίνδυνος είναι μεγάλος και για μετάδοση της νόσου και σε υγιή κοπάδια αφού αυτά μετακινούνται και πίνουν νερό από τον Ξηριά που αποτελεί σημείο διέλευσης.
Οι έλεγχοι θα γίνουν σε μονάδες και κοπάδια από την Νέα Αγχίαλο και σε όλη την περιφέρεια του Αλμυρού.
