Φωτιά ξέσπασε περίπου στις 7 το πρωί του Σαββάτου στη Βάρη. Σύμφωνα με πληροφορίες της ΕΡΤ, η φωτιά ξεκίνησε από κεραυνό, καθώς η ημέρα στην Αττική ξημέρωσε με συννεφιά και -κατά τόπους- ασθενή βροχόπτωση.
Να σημειωθεί ότι από τα ξημερώματα στην περιοχή υπήρξε έντονη κεραυνική δραστηριότητα. Ήταν δηλαδή σε εξέλιξη ηλεκτροκαταιγίδα χωρίς νερό με συνέπεια να ξεσπάσει φωτιά σε έξι σημεία σε Βούλα και Βάρη.
Η κινητοποίηση ήταν μεγάλη τόσο από την πυροσβεστική όσο και από την πολιτική προστασία σβήνοντας κάθε εστία που είχε ξεσπάσει.
Ενδεικτικό της κατάστασης ήταν ότι μέσα σε μίαμισι ώρα έπεσαν 270 κεραυνοί στην περιοχή.
«Τέτοιο πράγμα δεν το έχουμε ξαναδεί, τόσους κεραυνούς δεν έχουμε ξαναδεί», ανέφερε χαρακτηριστικά ο δήμαρχος Βάρης-Βούλας-Βουλιαγμένης Γρηγόρης Κωνσταντέλλος, ο οποίος τόνισε ότι η επέμβαση της Πυροσβεστικής και του δήμου ήταν άμεση, με αποτέλεσμα να περιοριστεί πολύ γρήγορα το μέτωπο.
Στο σημείο έσπευσαν πέντε οχήματα της πυροσβεστικής και 15 πυροσβέστες.

Μένω στην περιοχή της Βούλας. Χθες απόγευμα προς βράδυ παρατηρώντας τον ουρανό μου έκαναν εντύπωση τα παράξενα σύννεφα…Τα χαράματα το σπίτι μου συγκλονιζόταν από τους κεραυνούς, στο τέλος έριξε μία υποψία νερού. Αν αυτό δεν είναι HAARP τότε τι είναι ???
