Σε ιδιωτικό νοσοκομείο των Αθηνών πέθανε μια 35χρονη έγκυος από τη Ρόδο, λίγα 24ωρα αφότου οι γιατροί της είχαν δώσει εξιτήριο. Η 35χρονη Ειρήνη είχε μια δύσκολη εγκυμοσύνη και γι’ αυτό είχε αποφασίσει μαζί με την οικογένειά της να μπει σε ιδιωτικό νοσοκομείο της Αθήνας ώστε να παρακολουθείται από τους γιατρούς.
Σύμφωνα με τη rodiaki.gr, οι τελευταίοι διαβεβαίωναν πως όλα κυλούσαν ομαλά. Στις 6 Νοεμβρίου η 35χρονη πήρε εξιτήριο όμως η οδηγία των γιατρών ήταν να παραμείνει στην Αθήνα και να μην επιστρέψει στη Ρόδο.
Το βράδυ της περασμένης Κυριακής και ενώ όλη η οικογένεια βρισκόταν στο σπίτι η γυναίκα υπέστη ανακοπή. Κλήθηκε αμέσως ασθενοφόρο του ΕΚΑΒ ενώ γιατρός του ιδιωτικού νοσοκομείου που βρισκόταν κοντά μετέβη στο σημείο ώστε να προχωρήσει σε διαδικασίες ανάνηψης. Ήταν όμως δυστυχώς ήδη αργά.
Η 35χρονη μεταφέρθηκε στο νοσοκομείο όπου της αφαίρεσαν το έμβρυο. Το βρέφος νοσηλεύεται στη Μονάδα Εντατικής Θεραπείας με τους γιατρούς να δίνουν μάχη για να το κρατήσουν στη ζωή. Η κηδεία της 35χρονης είναι προγραμματισμένη για την Παρασκευή 15 Νοεμβρίου στη Ρόδο.
