Τακτική άσκηση μετά στρατευμάτων, με τη συμμετοχή μονάδων ειδικών επιχειρήσεων 4 βαλκανικών χωρών, ξεκινά σήμερα στην ευρύτερη περιοχή της Αττικής.
Αυτό έπειτα από ελληνική πρωτοβουλία και υπό τον συντονισμό της διακλαδικής διοίκησης ειδικών επιχειρήσεων του ΓΕΕΘΑ.
Στη SALAMIS STORM 2018 θα συμμετάσχει προσωπικό ειδικών επιχειρήσεων των Ενόπλων Δυνάμεων της Ελλάδας, της Βουλγαρίας, της Ρουμανίας και της Σερβίας, ενώ έχουν προσκληθεί και παρατηρητές από Κύπρο, Αίγυπτο, Εσθονία, ΗΠΑ, Ιορδανία, Ισραήλ και Πολωνία, αναφέρει σχετική ανακοίνωση του ΓΕΕΘΑ.
Σκοπός της άσκησης, που θα ολοκληρωθεί στις 9 Ιουνίου, είναι «η προαγωγή του επιπέδου της στρατιωτικής συνεργασίας και διαλειτουργικότητας των συμμετεχουσών μονάδων» προστίθεται στην ανακοίνωση.
