Τραγωδία σε γάμο στην Κύπρο την Τρίτη (07/05) στην περιοχή της Παναγιάς της Χρυσοπατερίτισσας του Πωμού στην επαρχία Πάφου.
Όλα συνέβησαν όταν οι νιόπαντροι πήγαιναν για φωτογράφιση. Ήταν 18:30 το απόγευμα όταν το νιόπαντρο ζευγάρι από τη Λάρνακα, μετέβη στο χώρο που βρίσκεται το γραφικό εκκλησάκι, για να φωτογραφηθεί.
Η φωτογράφιση περιελάμβανε τη χρήση γουρούνας, τον έλεγχο της οποίας φαίνεται ότι έχασε ο γαμπρός, με αποτέλεσμα να ανατραπεί και να πέσει σε γκρεμό. Από την πτώση ο οδηγός της μοτοσικλέτας τραυματίστηκε σοβαρά στο χέρι ενώ η νύφη ανασύρθηκε από τον γκρεμό σε κατάσταση σοκ και με το νυφικό της μέσα στα αίματα. Ο άνδρας υπέστη ακρωτηριασμό του αριστερού του χεριού από το σημείο της παλάμης. Η γυναίκα φέρει εκδορές και μώλωπες. Η Αστυνομία διερευνά τα αίτια του ατυχήματος.
