Τόνισε ότι «θα μπορούσαν να εξοικονομηθούν 80 εκατομμύρια ευρώ ετησίως αν αντί να πετιέται το πλάσμα αίματος στα απορρίμματα, λειτουργούσε το εργοστάσιο κλασματοποίησης πλάσματος, που εδώ και χρόνια έχει κατασκευαστεί στους Θρακομακεδόνες με κόστος 11μιση εκατομμύρια ευρώ , αλλά λόγω της αδιαφορίας των υπουργών υγείας δεν λειτουργεί».
Πρόσθεσε ότι από τις τραγικές ελλείψεις αίματος κινδυνεύουν να πεθάνουν τα πολυμεταγγιζόμενα άτομα καλώντας την Πολιτεία και την κοινωνία να αφυπνιστούν.
