Για συμπλήρωμα διατροφής που είναι επικίνδυνο για την υγεία, προειδοποιεί τους καταναλωτές ο ΕΟΦ, κατόπιν ενημέρωσης από τις αρχές της Κροατίας
Ο ΕΟΦ, σύμφωνα με σχετική ανακοίνωση, προειδοποιεί τους καταναλωτές να μην αγοράζουν ή κάνουν χρήση του προϊόντος DIOX TEADETOX.
Σύμφωνα με τα αποτελέσματα των εργαστηριακών ελέγχων που διενεργήθηκαν, το προϊόν αυτό περιέχει τις ουσίες σιβουτραμίνη (sibutramine) και σιλδεναφίλη (sildenafil) χωρίς σχετική αναγραφή στη συσκευασία τους και μπορεί να αποβεί επικίνδυνo για την υγεία του χρήστη.
H σιλδεναφίλη αποτελεί δραστική ουσία, η παρουσία της οποίας καθιστά το προϊόν μη εγκεκριμένο φάρμακο, ενώ συνδέεται με ανεπιθύμητες ενέργειες ιδιαίτερα στο καρδιαγγειακό σύστημα. Η σιβουτραμίνη αποσύρθηκε των Ιανουάριο του 2010 από τις ευρωπαϊκές χώρες λόγω αρνητικού προφίλ ασφάλειας.
Υπενθυμίζεται ότι η αγορά προϊόντων αρμοδιότητας ΕΟΦ από αναξιόπιστα σημεία διάθεσης, όπως είναι το διαδίκτυο, μπορεί να θέσει σε σοβαρό κίνδυνο την υγεία του καταναλωτή.
