Μια απίθανη εξήγηση έδωσε, μιλώντας σε τηλεοπτική εκπομπή, η βουλευτής του ΣΥΡΙΖΑ Ελένη Αυλωνίτου για τις απώλειες στη φονική πυρκαγιά στο Μάτι.
Η βουλευτής απέδωσε τις απώλειες στην έλλειψη… εκπαίδευσης, σημειώνοντας χαρακτηριστικά ότι «υπάρχει κόσμος που δεν ξέρει, που δεν έχει εκπαιδευτεί. Το ξέρετε ότι υπάρχει κόσμος που κάηκε μέσα στη θάλασσα», συνέχισε η Ελένη Αυλωνίτου, «γιατί νόμιζε ότι θα μπει μέσα στο νερό και θα σωθεί;».
Η τοποθέτηση της Ελένη Αυλωνίτου προκάλεσε την αντίδραση των παρουσιαστών και έτσι η βουλευτής δεν κατάφερε να εξηγήσει την πρωτότυπη θεωρία της. Ο κόσμος κάηκε γιατί δεν ήξερε κολύμπι ώστε να απομακρυνθεί από την ακτή που φλεγόταν; Δεν ήξερε πώς να σωθεί από τις φλόγες όταν βρέθηκε μέσα στη θάλασσα;
Σε κάθε περίπτωση, η περίεργη θεωρία της Ελένης Αυλωνίτου, που προσπάθησε να αποσείσει τις κυβερνητικές ευθύνες για την εκατόμβη στο Μάτι, προκάλεσε ήδη έντονες διαμαρτυρίες και πολλές ειρωνείες στα social media, ενώ το βίντεο με τις απίθανες δηλώσεις της δημοσιοποίησε η νεοδημοκρατική «Ομάδα Αλήθειας».

Είναι πρωταθλήτρια κολύμβησης με αρκετές διακρίσεις. Πάντως μέσα στον ωκεανό βλακείας του συριζα, σίγουρα θα πνιγεί, και πολύ σύντομα μάλιστα.
