Επίθεση από αγνώστους δέχτηκε λίγο πριν τις 22:00 νεαρό άτομο το οποίο κινούνταν στην οδό Εγνατία, στο ύψος της οδού Ιασωνίδου.

Σύμφωνα με πληροφορίες του thestival.gr, το θύμα της επίθεσης είχε δεμένη στο λαιμό μια ελληνική σημαία.
Σύμφωνα με τα όσα κατήγγειλε στους αστυνομικούς ο νεαρός η επίθεση έγινε από ομάδα ατόμων που κινήθηκαν από πίσω του και για το λόγο αυτό δεν μπορεί να προσδιορίσει τον αριθμό τους.
Στη συνέχεια τράπηκαν σε φυγή προς την πλατεία Αγ. Γεωργίου. Το θύμα δέχτηκε χτυπήματα στο κεφάλι και παρελήφθη αιμόφυρτο από ασθενοφόρο του ΕΚΑΒ για να μεταφερθεί στο εφημερεύων νοσοκομείο.

Αν η επίθεση είχε γίνει σε νεαρό (άπλυτο) που κρατούσε καμία σημαία με σφυροδρέπανο θα είχαμε πορείες σήμερα, ενάντια στο φασισμό και το ρατσισμό, και θα είχαν εντοπίσει ήδη τους «δράστες» από κάμερες τις περιοχής. Τώρα απλά τίποτα..,
Για να δούμε! Η Νοτοπούλου θα καταδικάσει το γεγονός;;; ή μόνο για lite βανδαλισμούς σε εβραϊκά μνημεία θα μιλάει; Στο μνημείο δεν έγινε και μεγάλη ζημιά, με ένα σπρέι μόνο έβαψαν κάτι που μπορεί μετά να καθαριστεί και να γίνει όπως πρίν, ενώ τον νεαρό τον έστειλαν στο νοσοκομείο.
