Νεκρός εντοπίστηκε ο ηθοποιός James Ransone σε ηλικία 46 ετών, με αναφορές να μιλούν για αυτοκτονία.
Σύμφωνα με το TMZ, ο 46χρονος έβαλε τέλος στην ζωή του την Παρασκευή.
Ο θάνατος του ηθοποιού επιβεβαιώθηκε από τον ιατροδικαστή του Λος Άντζελες, ο οποίος αναφέρει ότι η αιτία θανάτου είναι αυτοκτονία με απαγχονισμό. Όπως αναφέρει το αμερικανικό μέσο, δεν υπάρχουν υποψίες για εγκληματική ενέργεια.
Ο James Ransone άρχισε να εμφανίζεται σε μικρούς ρόλους στις αρχές της δεκαετίας του 2000 στις τηλεοπτικές σειρές «Ed» και «Third Watch», πριν κατακτήσει τον ρόλο που τον έκανε διάσημο στην σειρά «The Wire».
Ο Ranson υποδύθηκε τον Ζίγκι Σομπότκα, έναν λιμενεργάτη και γκάνγκστερ. Η ερμηνεία του «χειροκροτήθηκε» από κριτικούς, ενώ ορισμένοι χρήστες του διαδικτύου τον χαρακτήρισαν ως έναν από τους αγαπημένους τους χαρακτήρες της σειράς.
Ο 46χρονος συμμετείχε και στις σειρές «CSI: Crime Scene Investigation», «Hawaii Five-0», «Burn Notice», «Tangerine» αλλά και στην ταινία του Stephen King, «It: Chapter Two».
