Αυτοκίνητο γεμάτο εκρηκτικά ανατινάχτηκε στην Συρία, στην πόλη Tell Abyad, κοντά στα σύνορα με την Τουρκία.
Σύμφωνα με τις πρώτες πληροφορίες τρεις άνθρωποι σκοτώθηκαν και άλλοι 26 τραυματίστηκαν, αν και υπάρχουν αναφορές τοπικών μέσω ενημέρωσης για τέσσερις νεκρούς.
Η Tell Abyad βρίσκεται στην βόρεια Συρία, στην επαρχία της Ράκα, που συνορεύει με την Τουρκία.
Ο Τουρκικός στρατός κατέλαβε την πόλη κατά την διάρκεια της επιχείρησης εναντίον των Κούρδων, τον προηγούμενο μήνα. Στη συνέχεια η πόλη εντάχθηκε στην «ασφαλή ζώνη» που δημιουργεί η Τουρκία στην Συρία.
Πριν από δύο εβδομάδες παγιδευμένο αυτοκίνητο εξερράγη στην αγορά της πόλης, σκοτώνοντας 13 ανθρώπους και τραυματίζοντας περισσότερους από 30.
