Οι δράστες έφυγαν από το μουσείο με ένα δαχτυλίδι 18 καρατίων με πέντε διαμάντια που ανήκε στον Ναπολέοντα Βοναπάρτη
Άγνωστοι λήστεψαν το μουσείο που αποκαλείται ως «τελευταίο αρχηγείο του Ναπολέοντα» στην κοινότητα Genappe στο Βέλγιο, όπως μετέδωσε το RTBF.
Το περιστατικό σημειώθηκε τη νύχτα της 17ης προς 18η Δεκεμβρίου.
Σύμφωνα με πληροφορίες, δύο δράστες εισέβαλαν στο κτίριο σπάζοντας ένα παράθυρο.
Αφαίρεσαν ένα δαχτυλίδι 18 καρατίων με πέντε διαμάντια που ανήκε στον Ναπολέοντα Βοναπάρτη, καθώς και χρυσά και ασημένια νομίσματα της ναπολεόντειας εποχής.
Η ιστορική αξία αυτών των αντικειμένων «υπερβαίνει κατά πολύ την εμπορική τους αξία και αντιπροσωπεύει μια μοναδική κληρονομιά».
Οι έρευνες για τη ληστεία βρίσκονται σε πλήρη εξέλιξη.
Τον Οκτώβριο, άγνωστοι είχαν εισβάλει στο Λούβρο, κλέβοντας κοσμήματα από τη συλλογή του Ναπολέοντα.
Η ληστεία διήρκεσε μόλις επτά λεπτά.
Τα κλαπέντα κοσμήματα εκτιμάται ότι αξίζουν 88 εκατομμύρια ευρώ.
