Σύμφωνα με τον αντιπρόεδρο της τοπικής ελληνορθόδοξης κοινότητας, οι δράστες έριξαν πάνω από 100 σφαίρες και πρόκειται για ακροδεξιούς skinhead. Όπως είπε τα πάντα έχουν νεκρώσει και έχουν αναπτυχθεί δυνάμεις του στρατού.
Σε κατάσταση σοκ είναι η φιλήσυχη Νέα Ζηλανδία, σύμφωνα με τον αντιπρόεδρο της ελληνορθόδοξης κοινότητας του Κράιστσερτς, Κυριάκο Γεωργίου.
Ο κ. Γεωργίου, δήλωσε στο ραδιόφωνο Θέμα ότι ο ένοπλος «άλλαξε πέντε γεμιστήρες. Αυτό σημαίνει ότι έριξε 100 σφαίρες». Περιέγραψε ότι αυτή την ώρα τα σχολεία έχουν κλείσει στην περιοχή μετά την επίθεση, τα πάντα έχουν νεκρώσει και έχουν αναπτυχθεί δυνάμεις του στρατού και της αστυνομίας.
«Αυτό που μαθαίνουμε είναι ότι ήταν μια ομάδα εννέα ατόμων και έχουν συλληφθεί οι τέσσερις» τόνισε μεταφέροντας και την πληροφορία ότι πρόκειται για skinhead «που δεν θέλουν τους ξένους στη χώρα».
Από την επίθεση ενόπλων εναντίον τεμενών στη Νέα Ζηλανδία, έχουν σκοτωθεί 40 άνθρωποι και δεκάδες ακόμη έχουν τραυματιστεί. Ένας από τους δράστες φέρεται να μετέδιδε ζωντανά στο διαδίκτυο τη στιγμή της επίθεσης.
