Η Nestle France κατηγορείται για μολυσμένες πίτσες ύποπτες για τον θάνατο παιδιών
Αντιμέτωπη με βαρύτατες κατηγορίες για μολυσμένες πίτσες, που θεωρούνται μάλιστα ύποπτες για τον θάνατο δύο παιδιών, είναι η γαλλική θυγατρική εταιρεία της Nestle, Nestle France.
Εναντίον της μονάδας, η οποία διαχειρίζεται το εργοστάσιο στη βόρεια Γαλλία που παρασκεύασε τις κατεψυγμένες πίτσες Fraîch’Up της Buitoni καθώς και της Nestle France, ασκήθηκε δίωξη αυτή την εβδομάδα, όπως σημείωσε η εταιρεία σε ανακοίνωσή της χωρίς να αναφέρεται σε λεπτομέρειες.
Γάλλοι εισαγγελείς ξεκίνησαν έρευνα τον Μάιο του 2022 για ακούσια ανθρωποκτονία και ακούσια πρόκληση βλάβης αφού πολλοί πελάτες αρρώστησαν έχοντας καταναλώσει παρτίδες της κατεψυγμένης πίτσας Buitoni Fraich’Up μολυσμένες με το βακτήριο E.coli.
Εκπρόσωπος της εταιρείας δήλωσε σήμερα ότι οι εισαγγελείς απήγγειλαν κατηγορίες κατά της Nestle France και της Societe des Produits Alimentaires de Caudry, της θυγατρικής που επιβλέπει το εργοστάσιο όπου παρασκευάστηκαν οι μολυσμένες πίτσες. Η Nestle ανέστειλε την παραγωγή των μολυσμένων προϊόντων τον Μάρτιο του 2022.
Το κατηγορητήριο είναι προκαταρκτικό, δηλαδή υπάρχει έρευνα σε εξέλιξη και δεν έχει ληφθεί απόφαση.
“Η Nestle France σκοπεύει να αναλάβει πλήρως τις ευθύνες της στην υπόθεση. Ελπίζουμε αυτές οι νομικές διαδικασίες να βοηθήσουν στην πλήρη αποσαφήνιση των συνθηκών αυτού του δραματικού γεγονότος και σε κάποια παρηγοριά για τα θύματα και τις οικογένειές τους”, αναφέρει η εταιρεία σε ανακοίνωσή της.
Το σκάνδαλο επηρέασε δεκάδες ανθρώπους το 2022. Ένα χρόνο αργότερα, η Nestle κατέληξε σε συμφωνία για την αποζημίωση 63 θυμάτων και των οικογενειών τους.
