Συνεχίζονται οι εκρήξεις στο ιρανικό δεξαμενόπλοιο Sanchi εμποδίζοντας τις προσπάθειες για κατάσβεση της πυρκαγιάς και διάσωση επιζώντων.

Δεκάδες σωστικά σκάφη που έριχναν αφρό στο δεξαμενόπλοιο αναγκάσθηκαν να απομακρυνθούν την Τετάρτη εξαιτίας μιας έκρηξης.
Η Κίνα καταβάλλει κάθε δυνατή προσπάθεια για τη διάσωση των 32 αγνοουμένων ναυτικών.
Οι 32 ναυτικοί που αγνοούνται ήταν πλήρωμα του δεξαμενόπλοιου και πρόκειται για 30 Ιρανούς και δύο πολίτες του Μπανγκλαντές.
«Στην περιοχή εξακολουθεί να φλέγεται το δεξαμενόπλοιο, οι συνθήκες είναι πολύ δύσκολες, ωστόσο τα σωστικά συνεργεία της Κίνας καταβάλλουν υπεράνθρωπες προσπάθειες για να πλησιάσουν το πλοίο και να σβήσουν τη φωτιά», δήλωσε ο Πανγκ.
Ο Κινέζος αξιωματούχος αποκάλυψε ότι στην περιοχή βρίσκονται περίπου 20 σκάφη διάσωσης, δύο από τη Νότια Κορέα και την Ιαπωνία αντίστοιχα, ενώ πάνω από την περιοχή πετά ένα μη επανδρωμένο αεροσκάφος.
Μέχρι στιγμής έχει ανασυρθεί ένας νεκρός, η ταυτότητα του οποίου δεν έχει γίνει ακόμα γνωστή.
Ο πρεσβευτής της Κίνας στο Ιράν έκανε σαφές ότι η χώρα του θα κάνει ότι είναι δυνατόν για την ανεύρεση των αγνοούμενων στο πνεύμα της φιλίας των δύο χωρών, Κίνας και Ιράν.
