Συνετρίβη αντίγραφο αεροπλάνου του Β’ ΠΠ – Νεκρός ο πιλότος
Ένας άνθρωπος σκοτώθηκε όταν το αεροπλάνο που πετούσε -μία ρέπλικα αεροσκάφους του Β’ Παγκόσμιου Πολέμου- συνετρίβη στην Καλιφόρνια.
Το γραφείο του σερίφη της περιοχής αναφέρει ότι το μονοκινητήριο αεροπλάνο (με ανοικτό πιλοτήριο) έπεσε λίγο μετά την απογείωση του από ιδιωτικό αεροδρόμιο την Κυριακή.
Ο εκπρόσωπος Tony Cipolla δήλωσε ότι ο πιλότος, ο μόνος επιβάτης, πέθανε από τη σύγκρουση στο Paso Robles, 320 περίπου χιλιόμετρα βορειοδυτικά του Λος Άντζελες. Ο πιλότος δεν έχει αναγνωριστεί.
Οι φωτογραφίες του τμήματος του σερίφη δείχνουν το πλευρό του αεροπλάνου με σπασμένα φτερά και τσαλακωμένο εμπρόσθιο άκρο.
