Πρόστιμο 2 εκατομμυρίων ευρώ, επειδή κατέστρεψε τέσσερα τείχη των Ίνκας, ηλικίας περίπου 500 ετών, προκειμένου να «σηκώσει» ένα ξενοδοχείο «Sheraton» στην πόλη Κούσκο που προστατεύεται από την Unesco, επιβλήθηκε σε κατασκευαστική εταιρεία στο Περού.
Τα τείχη αυτά καταστράφηκαν την περίοδο 2012 – 2014. Το επταώροφο κτίριο, την κατασκευή του οποίου σταμάτησαν οι αρχές το 2016 όταν πια είχε σχεδόν ολοκληρωθεί, βρίσκεται στην παλιά πρωτεύουσα των Ίνκας, την Κούσκο, η οποία το 1983 κηρύχθηκε μνημείο παγκόσμιας κληρονομιάς από την Unesco.
Η εταιρεία R&G SAC, η έδρα της οποίας βρίσκεται στη Λίμα, θα πρέπει επίσης να κατεδαφίσει τους πέντε από τους επτά ορόφους του κτιρίου, καθώς στο ιστορικό κέντρο της Κούσκο δεν επιτρέπονται κτήρια με περισσότερους από δύο ορόφους.
«Αν η κοινωνία μας αποδίδει αξία στην κληρονομιά μας, έχουμε υποχρέωση να φροντίζουμε για τον σεβασμό των κανόνων που έχουν στόχο τη διατήρηση και την προστασία της», τόνισε η υπουργός Πολιτισμού του Περού Ούλα Χόλμκιστ.

Στο Ελλαδιστάν καταστρέφουν αρχαία στάδια,αρχαία μνημεία αρρήτου κάλους και δέν τρέχει τίποτα.Ούτε τα μαθαίνουμε.
