Φαίνεται πως δεν ξεκινούν με τους καλύτερους οιωνούς οι Ολυμπιακοί Αγώνες για την χώρα μας.
Πριν ακόμα την τελετή έναρξης, έσκασε σαν βόμβα η είδηση πως δύο Έλληνες αθλητές έχουν βρεθεί θετικοί σε έλεγχο ντόπινγκ.
Σύμφωνα με πληροφορίες του Newsit βγήκε θετικό το πρώτο δείγμα σε έλεγχο αντιντόπινγκ μιας Ελληνίδας κολυμβήτριας που βρίσκεται ήδη στο Ρίο και μάλιστα διεκδικούσε και με αξιώσεις μία καλή εμφάνιση στους Ολυμπιακούς Αγώνες.
Οι πληροφορίες αναφέρουν πως ο έλεγχος πραγματοποιήθηκε στους Έλληνες αθλητές πριν αναχωρήσει η Ολυμπιακή Αποστολή στο Ρίο.
Το δεύτερο θετικό δείγμα, αφορά μέλος της παραολυμπιακής ομάδας, το οποίο όμως βρίσκεται ακόμα στην Ελλάδα, καθώς οι Παραολυμπιακοί Αγώνες ξεκινούν Σεπτέμβριο.
