Περί τα 50 δισ γουαν διοχέτευσε η Κεντρική Τράπεζα της Κίνας μέσω ρέπος 7 ημερών, παρέχοντας έτσι μια επιπλέον ένεση ρευστότητας προς το σύστημα. Συγκεκριμένα αγόρασε από τις τράπεζες χρεόγραφα με συμφωνία να τα πουλήσει και πάλι στο μέλλον. Η απόδοση διαμορφώθηκε στο 2,25%.
Η κεντρική τράπεζα έχει υιοθετήσει φέτος τη συχνότερη χρήση των ρέπος και άλλων μέσων για την ενίσχυση της ρευστότητας στην αγορά, παρά μειώσεις των επιτοκίων ή του ποσοστού των υποχρεωτικών διαθεσίμων των τραπεζών.
Το διατραπεζικό επιτόκιο αναφοράς για μία ημέρα διατηρήθηκε σήμερα σταθερό στο 1,996%.
