Νέο χτύπημα επεφύλασσε ο Εγκέλαδος για τη Χιλή, η οποία στις 6:25 ώρα Ελλάδος ταρακουνήθηκε από νέο σεισμό μεγέθους 6,4 βαθμών της κλίμακας Ρίχτερ.
Το επίκεντρο του σεισμού εντοπίστηκε 300 χιλιόμετρα από την πρωτεύουσα Σαντιάγο με εστιακό βάθος 40 χλμ.
Μέχρι στιγμής δεν έχουν αναφερθεί ζημιές ή προειδοποίηση για τσουνάμι.
