Eπτά άνθρωποι έχασαν τη ζωή τους στο Μπράουνσβιλ του Τέξας, όταν αυτοκίνητο έπεσε πάνω σε πεζούς το πρωί της Κυριακής.
Το δυστύχημα σημειώθηκε στις 8:30 π.μ. κοντά στο Ozanam Center στο Μπράουνσβιλ, δήλωσε στο ABC News εκπρόσωπος του αστυνομικού τμήματος.

Εκτός από αυτούς που πέθαναν, έως και έξι άτομα νοσηλεύονται με σοβαρά και ελαφρά τραύματα στο νοσοκομείο, σύμφωνα με την αστυνομία. Σύμφωνα με τις αρχές, η αστυνομία έχει συλλάβει έναν ύποπτο.
Ο οδηγός του αυτοκινήτου νοσηλεύεται στο νοσοκομείο και βρίσκεται υπό 24ωρη φύλαξη, ανέφερε η αστυνομία. Αυτή τη στιγμή πραγματοποιούνται εξετάσεις για τον έλεγχο της χρήσης αλκοόλ και ναρκωτικών, δήλωσε η αστυνομία.
