Μέχρι τώρα γνωρίζαμε ότι η περίοδος επώασης του θανατηφόρου ιού Covid-19 ήταν στις 14 ημέρες. Ασθενής όμως στην Κίνα και πιο συγκεκριμένα στην επαρχία Hubei εμφάνισε συμπτώματα μετά από 38 ημέρες από την μόλυνσή του με τον θανατηφόρο ιό. Σύμφωνα με τον Κινέζο επιδημιολόγο η περίοδος επώασης του κορωνοϊού μπορεί να ανέλθει στις 24 ημέρες.
Αυτό σημαίνει πολύ απλά ότι η υποχρεωτική καραντίνα όσων προληπτικά εισάγονται (για παράδειγμα όσων επιστρέφουν από την Κίνα) των 14 ημερών δεν είναι αρκετή.

Δεν ξερω πόσο μπορει να διαρκεσει αυτό, αλλα νομιζω λογες βδομαδες το πολύ ενα μηνα
