Το Sapan είναι το πρώτο εθνικό ηλεκτρομαγνητικό όπλο που αναπτύχθηκε από την TÜBİTAK (Τουρκικό Ίδρυμα Επιστημονικών και Τεχνολογικών Ερευνών). Μπορεί να εκτοξεύσει σφαίρα χωρίς την χρήση μπαρουτιού παρά μονάχα με την χρησιμοποίηση ενέργειας. Η σφαίρα μέσω της χρησιμοποίησης της ηλεκτρομαγνητικής ενέργειας μπορεί να φτάσει στον στόχο με ταχύτητα δέκα φορές την ταχύτητα του ήχου. Τα τέστ του Sapan άρχισαν το 2014 και ήδη πραγματοποιήθηκε η παραγωγή του πρώτου πρωτοτύπου. Σε ολόκληρο τον κόσμο υπάρχουν μόνο δύο εταιρίες που παράγουν ηλεκτρομαγνητικά πυροβόλα. Η μια στις ΗΠΑ και η άλλη στην Αγγλία.
