Εδώ και μερικές μέρες ο Πόντος στην Τουρκία φλέγεται από αλλεπάλληλα ένοπλα χτυπήματα, μια εξέλιξη που δείχνει πως ο εσωτερικός εμφύλιος στην Τουρκία έχει μεταφερθεί και στην περιοχή αυτή, με όλες τις συνέπειες μιας τέτοιας πολύ σημαντικής εξέλιξης.
Σύμφωνα με τα τουρκικά ΜΜΕ, την Παρασκευή 6 Μαΐου γύρω στις 5 η ώρα μ.μ. έγινε μια οργανωμένη ένοπλη επίθεση στην Διεύθυνση Αστυνομίας της Κερασούντος, με αποτέλεσμα ένας αξιωματικός νεκρός και αρκετοί τραυματίες.
Συγκεκριμένα η επίθεση έγινε στο Çalgağ και νεκρός είναι ο αξιωματικός Zafer Çalışkan της Στρατοχωροφυλακής, ενώ υπήρξαν και πολλοί τραυματίες.
Πριν από μερικές μέρες, στις 2 Μαΐου, είχαμε άλλη μια οργανωμένη επίθεση στην περιοχή Αργυρουπόλεως, (Gümüşhane), στο χωριό Kürtün, μια ένοπλη επίθεση που κράτησε αρκετή ώρα με νεκρούς και τραυματίες.
Την ίδια μέρα είχαμε και άλλη ένοπλη επίθεση στο χωριος Doğankent της Κερασούντος, πάλι με νεκρούς και τραυματίες.
