Έπεσε σε κώμα για μήνες ύστερα από τροχαίο, ξύπνησε και τελικά τον πάτησε φορτηγό
Ένας νεαρός άνδρας έπεσε σε κώμα για μήνες ύστερα από τροχαίο ατύχημα και ξύπνησε λίγο πριν δωρίσουν τα όργανά του. Ωστόσο, τελικά έφυγε από τη ζωή, όταν τον πάτησε φορτηγό τη στιγμή που διέσχιζε τον δρόμο.
Σύμφωνα με δημοσίευμα της New York Post, ο Drew Kohnενεπλάκη σε ατύχημα με μοτοσικλέτα το 2017, λίγες ημέρες πριν από τα 23α γενέθλιά του. Ο νεαρός νοσηλεύτηκε με εγκεφαλική βλάβη και έπεσε σε κώμα για 244 μέρες, αλλά τελικά ξύπνησε λίγο πριν η μητέρα του πάρει την απόφαση να προχωρήσει σε δωρεά οργάνων.
«Θα είχαν συλλέξει τα όργανά του, αν δεν ξυπνούσε εγκαίρως», είπε η μητέρα του, Yolanda Osborne-Kohn.
Έκτοτε, πήρε τον γιο της στο σπίτι και σιγά-σιγά μπόρεσε να επανέλθει ως έναν βαθμό, όπως να μπορεί να κυκλοφορεί μόνος του εκτός οικίας.
Ωστόσο, πριν από λίγες μέρες ο πλέον 30χρονος άνδρας προσπάθησε να διασχίσει έναν δρόμο κοντά στο σπίτι του και τότε τον πάτησε ένα φορτηγό, με αποτέλεσμα να χάσει τη ζωή του.
Η μητέρα του σε δηλώσεις που έκανε στους δημοσιογράφους ανέφερε ότι «ο Θεός βοήθησε την πρώτη φορά, οπότε δεν είμαι θυμωμένη μαζί Του. Τώρα, ξέρω πως το παιδί μου βρίσκεται σε ένα ήρεμο μέρος, χωρίς να ταλαιπωρείται».
