Σε ανύποπτο χρόνο, ο γνωστός δισεκατομμυριούχος και ιδιοκτήτης του Twitter, Έλον Μασκ, εκμυστηρεύτηκε στο συγκεκριμένο κοινωνικό μέσο την άσχημη εμπειρία του με τα κορωνοεμβόλια.
Όπως έγραψε σε σχόλιο, υπέφερε από σοβαρές παρενέργειες, οι οποίες όμως, σύμφωνα πάντα με τον ίδιο, δεν ξέρει αν του προκάλεσαν μόμινη ζημιά:
«Είχα σημαντικές παρενέργειες από τη δεύτερη αναμνηστική μου λήψη. Ένιωθα σαν να πέθαινα για αρκετές μέρες. Ελπίζω να μην υπάρχει μόνιμη ζημιά, αλλά δεν ξέρω».
«Και ο ξάδερφός μου, ο οποίος είναι νέος και σε κορυφαία υγεία, είχε ένα σοβαρό κρούσμα μυοκαρδίτιδας. Έπρεπε να πάει στο νοσοκομείο».
Παραδέχθηκε ότι την πρώτη φορά που έκανε το μονοδοσικό εμβόλιο Johnson & Johnson δεν είχε ανεπιθύμητες επιπτώσεις, «εκτός από το χέρι μου πονούσε για λίγο».
