Eleven New Cases reported in Quad-County area since July 2, three new hospitalizations

Carson City Health and Human Services (CCHHS) is reporting eleven new positive cases and two additional recoveries of COVID-19 in the Quad-County region. This brings the total number of cases to 372, with 260 recoveries and seven deaths, 105 cases remain active.

The new cases are:• A male Lyon County resident in his 50’s with no connection to a previously reported case.

• A female Carson City resident in her 60’s with no connection to a previously reported case.

• A female Carson City resident in her 60’s with no connection to a previously reported case.

• A male Douglas County resident in his 70’s with a connection to a previously reported case.

• A male Douglas County resident in his 70’s with no connection to a previously reported case.

• A female Lyon County resident in her 20’s with a connection to a previously reported case.

• A male Carson City resident in his 30’s with a connection to a previously reported case.

• A male Carson City resident under the age of 18 with a connection to a previously reported case.

• A male Lyon County resident in his 30’s with no connection to a previously reported case.

• A female Carson City resident under the age of 18 with a connection to a previously reported case.

• A female Carson City resident under the age of 18 with a connection to a previously reported case.

Carson City Health and Human Services is working to identify close risk contacts to prevent further spread of the disease. Due to medical privacy requirements and to protect their identity, no further information about the cases will be released.

Douglas County-72 Total (+2 from 7/2)-22 Active (+2 from 7/2)-50 Recovered (+0 from 7/2)

Storey County-2 Total (+0 from 7/2)-1 Active (+0 from 7/2)-1 Recovery (+0 from 7/2)

TOTAL-372 Total Cases (+11 from 7/2)-105 Active (+9 from 7/2)-255 Recovered (+2 from 7/2)-7 Deaths (+0 from 7/2)-13 Hospitalizations (+3 from 7/2)
