Έκρηξη βυτιοφόρου στο Νότιο Σουδάν
Τουλάχιστον 150 άνθρωποι έχουν χάσει μέχρι στιγμής τη ζωή τους από τη χθεσινή έκρηξη βυτιοφόρου που μετέφερε καύσιμα και ανετράπη σε δρόμο του Νοτίου Σουδάν, την ώρα που αρκετός κόσμος προσπαθούσε να αφαιρέσει το φορτίο του και να το τοποθετήσει σε μπιτόνια.
Το τραγικό συμβάν σημειώθηκε στην οδική αρτηρία που συνδέει την πρωτεύουσα Τζούμπα με την πόλη Μαρίντι και φαίνεται να συνδέεται με το απαρχαιωμένο οδικό δίκτυο.
Ελάχιστοι ασφαλτοστρωμένοι δρόμοι υπάρχουν στο Νότιο Σουδάν, μία από τις φτωχότερες χώρες της Αφρικής, που από τον Δεκέμβριο του 2013 πλήττεται από εμφύλιο πόλεμο ανάμεσα σε κυβέρνηση και αντικαθεστωτικούς.
