Η εφημερίδα Le Parisien ανέφερε ότι τα θύματα μεταφέρθηκαν στο νοσοκομείο με εγκαύματα από χημική ουσία.

Άνδρες της Πυροσβεστικής και της Αστυνομίας αλλά και ασθενοφόρα έσπευσαν στο σημείο της έκρηξης, το οποίο έχει αποκλειστεί και οι Αρχές ζήτησαν από τον κόσμο να μην πλησιάσει στην ευρύτερη περιοχή.
Τα αίτια της έκρηξης παραμένουν, μέχρι αυτή τη στιγμή, άγνωστα.
